Brain of London
Brain of London is the title The Quiz League of London awards to the winner of the annual individual competition.

The competition has been dominated by Kevin Ashman who has won the title 10 times.
Robert Willer has won four times.
In 2006 a qualifying competition was introduced, resulting in a big increase in participation.
The players who qualify take part in the preliminary event to decide the four finalists who will battle it out on finals night.
Matches take place in groups of four, drawn out of the hat. Each person has three questions addressed to them, in each of five rounds.
You can take your time to answer but a wrong answer or a pass gives any of the other three an opportunity to score a bonus point.
Who should get the first chance to answer for a bonus is determined by offering the question to whoever, at that stage, has made least attempts to gain bonus points.
The winner is awarded the R S Yule Trophy, named in memory of Robert Scott Yule 1906-1982.
In order to make the competition open to even more players, a second BoL competition was introduced in the 2010-2011 season.
The winner is awarded the Donald Yule Trophy, named after league co-founder and honory life president Donald Yule who retired at the end of the 2010-2011 season.
