Competitions
The Quiz League of London runs a number of competitions for teams and individuals in and around London and the home counties.
In a similar fashion to sports leagues, the bulk of the season is made up of league fixtures.
When the league season ends, we run a cup competition - a plate tournament also takes place for teams defeated in their first cup match.
An individual contest awards the title Brain of London and, since the 2010-11 season, Brain of London 2.
President's Cup matches are played on Sundays in a packet-submission league to decide which team represents the south of England in the North v South contest at the festival.
The Summer Friendly League fills the gap between Finals Night and the start of the new season.
It is intended to be less serious than the main league and, because the questions are designed to be a bit easier, is a great way for new players to learn team quizzing.

Events
In addition to our competitions, we also organise several events throughout the year.
The Charity Quiz Night is a table quiz where we raise money for our chosen charity, currently National Talking Newspapers and Magazines which allows the visually-impaired access to a wide range of newspapers, magazines and other publications otherwise unavaliable to them.
The National Team Quiz Festival is a mixture of individual and team quizzes, including our unique Rally Quiz where timing can be just as important as answers.
The Summer Social is an ideal way for quizzers and non-quizzers to get together in a friendly atmosphere - there is, of course, quizzing involved!
