League


The League Championship is the main activity of the Quiz League of London. During the season, beginning around late September, matches are played on a home and away basis to decide the winner of the championship trophy. Additionally, the Ashman Trophy is awarded to the player with the highest average of correct 2 point answers during the league season, and the Young Player Award is awarded to the player who achieves the highest "Ashman" score AND is under the age of 30 at the beginning of the season. The regular league season is followed by the All London Cup. The league welcomes new players and teams to participate in its competitions, please visit the joining in page for more information.

Donated by Whitbread plc and awarded annually to the winners of the QLL League Championship. First competed for in the 1990-1991 season.
