The National Team Quiz Festival is an annual quiz event that takes place after the regular season for most quiz leagues has finished. It is normally held around June. The event traditionally features the North v South match for the Don Bisset Trophy between the winners of the Merseyside Quiz League's President's Cup and The Quiz League of London's President's Trophy.
First held in 1990, the location of the event initially alternated between London and Liverpool but in most of the 2000s it has been held solely in London. In 2005 the Rally Quiz was introduced, taking place on the morning of the competition. The afternoon normally includes a friendly tournament, normally with teams formed on the day, and forms a good introduction to the game for new players.
