Quizzes are what we're about, so it's only right that our web site should provide some too. If you want to regularly experience the quizzes we play for league points, please see our page about joining in. The friendly quizzes listed here are set by QLL teams and played after the main game, supposedly for fun, but according to some: "there's no such thing as a friendly quiz!".
Please contact us if you find any errors in the quizzes, and we will fix them. See the foot of this page for resources (score sheets etc.).
Formats
Each batch of quizzes is available in four different formats. If you print the quizzes, the format most friendly to the environment is 1xA4, though it may, for some, be difficult to read.

Balancer
The League Quiz Balancer is an Excel workbook that a quiz setter can use to simplify the setting process. The quiz setter writes the quiz in pairs and (if required) chooses a broad category and/or difficulty level for each question. At the click of a button, the software distributes the questions and generates the final document. The balancer aims to equalise the difficulty between players, equalise the difficulty between teams, and also attempts to minimise category bias by selecting a distribution where players don't have too many of the same broad category of question.
