At the top of Division I an Ashman inspired Allsorts just held off a last round charge by Chester Army to win by a point to stay top. However another impressive performance by Broken Hearts against Atletico, again with all four in double figures, keeps up the challenge, and sets up a climactic last (or perhaps not?) game of the season next week. In the other half of the Division Animals were too strong for a three player Belly, while Priory Nomads also had all four players in double figures in beating Barbican. Top scorer was Kevin Ashman of Allsorts with 26 points.
In Division II, with Uncosy having a week off, the top clash was between joint second placed Waterloo Sunset and Ovalytes. After 7 rounds the scores were level, but a disastrous last round for Ovalytes saw Waterloo Sunset comfortably home. Aldersgate moved into joint second with Waterloo Sunset with a strong team performance against London Scottish. Telstars won again in the game against Rosslyn Park, but have left their surge too late, while Bread & Roses continued their in and out season with a win against Accrington Cylindricals. Top scorer in the Division was Bob Jones of Waterloo Sunset with 22 points.
So with just one week left of the regular season the top slots in both Divisions are still in doubt, with the possibility of play-off games being needed in both to decide the titles.
