Another impressive performance at the top of Division I from Broken Hearts, who overwhelmed Uncosy. Once again all four Broken Hearts were in double figures, and it seems that little can now stop them from claiming the title. For the third week running third placed Atletico's game came down to the final pair of questions, and yet again they couldn't take the win, this week going down to Priory Nomads, who are just a point behind Atletico in 4th. In-form Aldersgate had a comprehensive win over Waterloo Sunset in the Hand & Shears derby, leaving Waterloo Sunset perilously placed at the bottom. For the second week running Animals' game finished in a draw, this week after a tight struggle with Chester Army, who edged closer to safety. Chester Army provided the week's top scorer in Fred Filby, who amassed 22 points.
With Division II leaders Barb having their week off, and looking odds-on for promotion, Ovalytes took the opportunity to close the gap by beating Accrington Cylindricals in the Royal Oak derby. However joint second placed Telstars missed their chance by losing to Pineapple, who are having a much better second half of the season as they gain experience. Telstars are now 2 points behind Ovalytes, with a game in hand, and these two meet in the penultimate game of the season. Bread & Roses kept their hopes of promotion alive with a clear win over London Scottish, while Belly, who have a theoretical chance, proved far too strong for Rosslyn Park. Top scorer in the Division this week was Roger Barnes of Belly with 19 points.
