There was a clash in Division I between two of the previously unbeaten teams, when Atletico hosted Broken Hearts. Broken Hearts pulled steadily away to end with a comfortable win and preserve their winning run. One point to note from this game: in round 3 all 8 players answered their own questions. The other unbeaten side, Nomads, had a comprehensive victory over Telstars, in a game of two halves - there was only one point in it at half time. The result leaves Telstars still looking for their first point. Barb, similarly pointless, found Old Itonians far too strong, with all four OIs in double figures. Allsorts recovered from a, for them, poor start to the season with their first win, away to Aldersgate. Kevin Ashman's 20 points for Allsorts in this game was the night's best in the Division.
In Division II, Pineapple continued their good start to the season with a convincing win over London Scottish. After a close first half, Waterloo Sunset also maintained their 100% record following a strong second half performance against Rosslyn Park. Gray Monks met Ovalytes, perhaps the League's most inconsistent side, on one of their off days, and had an easy win. The Division's closest game was at the Royal Oak, where Belly took an early lead, then held on to edge out Accrington Cylindricals. The best score of the night was Mick Lancaster's impressive 26 points for Belly.
