The two remaining unbeaten sides in Division I met, and in an epic encounter Broken Hearts did enough to see off the challenge from Nomads. As a mark of the quality of the game, all 8 players were in double figures. Old Itonians continued their good run with a win over Aldersgate, and moved into joint second place. Unfortunately I have no details for this game. Allsorts recovery continued with a clear win over Telstars, who are still without a point. An unfamiliar looking Atletico, with its two quiz veterans Robert Willer and Brian Wright sunning themselves in Barbados, ran Barb close, but Barb held on to record their first win of the season. Assuming no-one in the Old Itonians v. Aldersgate game did better, the best score in the Division was Gavin Fuller of Allsorts with 23 points.
The two unbeaten sides in Division II also clashed, and a strong finish by Waterloo Sunset saw them to a comfortable win over Pineapple. Belly moved into joint second with a comprehensive win over London Scottish. In the Royal Oak derby Ovalytes had one of their good weeks, as they were never seriously troubled by Accrington Cylindricals. Gray Monks joined a three way tie for second place with their victory over Rosslyn Park, who remain pointless. Best score of the day was once again by Mick Lancaster of Belly, who topped last week's 26 points with a 28 point performance.
