There were four nail-biting finishes in Division I, with three one point wins, and the other by two points. The most notable result was at the Carpenters Arms, where Aldersgate inflicted Broken Hearts first defeat of the season, Aldersgate took an early lead, then clung on despite a strong Broken Hearts challenge. Congratulations to Rudy Noriega for his full house in this game. In a remarkable game at the One Tun, Allsorts, having been 9 points up against Old Itonians after 5 rounds, had the rare and unfortunate distinction of scoring 50+ and still losing. All eight players in this game were in double figures, with all eight getting their own question in Round 2. Telstars came agonisingly close to their first win of the season, before just falling to Barb. Meanwhile in Streatham, Atletico had the "luxury" of a two point win over Nomads. Robert Willer of Atletico had the Division's best score with 23 points.
Waterloo Sunset march on at the top of Division II, with a very comfortable win over Accrington Cylindricals. Of their closest rivals only Gray Monks managed a win, with a clear victory over London Scottish. Belly came up against Ovalytes on one of the latter's good days, and lost a close game. Pineapple were held to a draw by Rosslyn Park, amazingly the third consecutive game against each other that these two sides have drawn. Top scorer this week was Mick Lancaster with 25 points.
