Another impressive performance from Broken Hearts gave them a comfortable victory over Old Itonians to maintain their position at the top of Division I. A return to form by the Allsorts saw them narrowly defeat Nomads, while Atletico, with all four players in double figures, were too strong for Telstars. In a key clash at the bottom of the table Barb edged out Aldersgate, and these two teams are now joint 6th. At this stage Broken Hearts must be clear favourites, with three teams, Atletico, Nomads and Old Itonians, tied in second place four points behind. Telstars will have their work cut out to avoid relegation, while Barb, Aldersgate and even Allsorts must be a little nervous. The Division's top scorer was Ian Bayley of Broken Hearts with 19 points.
Top played bottom in Division II, with predictable results. Waterloo Sunset had a comprehensive win against London Scottish to keep their 100% record and stay 5 points clear at the top. They are now assured a place in the top half for the end of season play-offs. Second placed Pineapple had all four of their players in double figures as they proved too strong for Accrington Cylindricals. Gray Monks moved into sole third place by beating Belly. In the week's other game Rosslyn Park recovered from a poor start to beat Ovalytes, who now slip to 6th place. Three players tied for the week's best score on 20 points: Peter Ediss of Gray Monks; Quentin Holt of Waterloo Sunset; and Mick Lancaster of Belly.
