In Division I the game between Broken Hearts and Atletico got off to a cracking start, with all eight players answering their own questions in round 1. Atletico then briefly took the lead, but thereafter Broken Hearts steadily pulled away, to maintain their position at the top. Old Itonians and Nomads both recorded comfortable wins, over Barb and Telstars respectively, to remain in joint second place. The most exciting game of the night was at the Old Star, where, after leading for 7 rounds, Allsorts lost by one point to Aldersgate on the last question. Top scorers were Fred Filby of Old Itonians and Gavin Fuller of Allsorts, both with 20 points.
Waterloo Sunset march on at the top of Division II, although they were challenged all the way by a gallant performance from three man Rosslyn Park. All seven players in this game were into double figures. Pineapple hold on to second place after a steady win against London Scottish. Gray Monks stay in third place with a victory over Ovalytes, while Belly kept their promotion hopes alive by defeating Accrington Cylindricals. As in Division I, there is a clear gap between 4th and 5th place. The Division's best scores on the night were by Will Jones of Gray Monks and Martin Smith of Pineapple with 18 points.
