Broken Hearts returned to winning ways with a comfortable win over Telstars. Congratulations to Sean Carey of Broken Hearts who achieved a full house in this game. Sadly this defeat means that Telstars will be relegated at the end of the season. Two of the teams tied in second place met, and could still not be separated as Old Itonians and Nomads shared the first draw in Division I this season. Atletico slip to fourth after their defeat by Aldersgate. The evening's highest team score was Allsorts' 59 points, with all four players in double figures as they demolished Barb. Kevin Ashman's 22 in this game was the Division's best, and also included a full house, his second of the season.
In Division II Waterloo Sunset had to come from behind in the last round to preserve their 100% record against Belly. One more point will assure Waterloo Sunset of promotion. Second placed Pineapple also needed a strong last round to snatch a draw against a three man Ovalytes team. Gray Monks join Pineapple in second after a convincing win against Accrington Cylindricals. It was a good night for draws, as the two rugby clubs, London Scottish and Rosslyn Park also shared the points. Their point lifts London Scottish above Accrington Cylindricals at the bottom. The week's best score was Tony Sherwood's 25 points for Ovalytes.
