Reigning Champions Broken Hearts had a week off, and Nomads were able to take advantage of this as, in beating Barb, they moved into the top spot, gaining a full house bonus on the way. Allsorts stay in third place with their victory over Gray Monks. All four Allsorts were in double figures, and they also achieved a full house bonus. All four Atletico players were also in double figures as they defeated Waterloo Sunset, and Atletico were another team with a full house bonus. Old Itonians maintained their mid-table position with a comfortable win over Pineapple, who, at third bottom, must be looking anxiously over their shoulder. Top scorer in the Division was Nomads' Roger Bennett with 18 points.

Division II leaders Pericardium were also having a free night, and second placed Belly closed the gap in overwhelming a three man Wharfside. It will need some very strange results over the last few weeks if the leading two are not to achieve promotion. Rosslyn Park kept their faint hopes of promotion alive in beating Telstars. Park move ahead of Ovalytes, who were held to a draw by Mealy Bugs, who have been involved in both the Division II draws so far this season. Finally Accrington Cylindricals were too strong for London Scottish, who continue to prop up the League. The best score of the night was achieved by Mick Lancaster of Belly, who scored 22 points.
