Nomads hold on at the top of Division I, with a narrow win over Allsorts. Nomads gained a full house bonus, while Allsorts had the consolation of a narrow defeat bonus. Broken Hearts kept up the chase with a more comfortable win over Barb, and also picked up a full house bonus. Allsorts defeat means that, as has seemed likely for most of the season, the title is now between Nomads and Broken Hearts. There was a tight struggle at the One Tun, until a disaster in the last round for Old Itonians gave Atletico a slightly flattering margin of victory. Against Waterloo Sunset, Gray Monks were always in the game, but couldn't quite manage to overhaul their hosts. Relegation is now between Pineapple, Barb and Gray Monks, with Pineapple meeting Barb tomorrow. Top scorer in the Division was Gavin Fuller of Allsorts with 18 points.
There were two notable achievements in Division II. In the battle of the rugby clubs London Scottish recorded their first win of the season, holding on against a late surge from Rosslyn Park. London Scottish also picked up a full house bonus, while Rosslyn Park got a point for their narrow defeat. At the other end of the table, congratulations to Belly, who assured themselves of promotion by defeating Ovalytes in another very close game. There was a narrow defeat bonus point for Ovalytes. Pericardium maintained their position as Division leaders with a win over Accrington Cylindicals, earning a full house bonus on the way. In the week's final match Telstars achieved a full house bonus as they proved too strong for a three man Wharfside. Some consolation for Wharfside, as Colin Kidd had the best score of the night for them with 25 points.
